New Balance Releases 997H Spring Hike Trail in Vivid "Neo Flame" Colorway
Featuring Cordura paneling.

Staying indoors may be the new reality to combat the coronavirus outbreak, but a daily walk (or hike for those that can squeeze it in) is still a necessity for maintaining a healthy lifestyle and keeping skin refreshed. New Balance has offered up a vibrant pair of kicks for the occasion, releasing its 997H Spring Hike Trail sneakers in a blazing “Neo Flame” colorway.
The shoes feature a color-blocked design with panels of red, yellow, and blue along the upper, which is defined even further by textural Cordura paneling. They’re made with a lightweight construction throughout for a modernized fit, while a deconstructed tongue offers even more breathability.
Other details like speckled laces and suede foxing bring in more trail references to the hiking-inspired silhouette. It’s then finished off with a speckled midsole in tan and white for a clean neutral foundation.
The 997H Spring Hike Trail “Neo Flame” is priced at $90 USD and available now at New Balance’s webstore.
Many brands have turned to the outdoors for footwear inspiration as of late. Recently, Eye/LOEWE/Nature released a bold series of leather and canvas hiking boots.
