Martine Rose’s foray into footwear has lent the likes of snakeskin-print mules and even a buzzy sneaker collaboration with Nike over the years. Now, the London-based designer is delving into even more silhouettes with her latest release, dropping off a pair of chunky sandals as a hefty option for spring.

The style is crafted of leather and offered in two colorways: black and snakeskin, the latter of which mirrors the preferred texture of some of Rose’s previous footwear models. Each edition is constructed with a round toe for the typical “mandal” silhouette and equipped with velcro strap closures. Embossed logos on the tongue and heel round out the details.

Priced at $475 USD, Martine Rose’s Hiking Sandals in snakeskin and solid black are both available now at SSENSE’s webstore.

Elsewhere for Rose, the designer took over her daughter’s school to showcase her Fall/Winter 2020 collection during London Fashion Week: Men’s in January.
