After sharing a preview of its Spring/Summer 2020 jewelry collection last year, MAPLE has unveiled its full range of vintage rings and classic chains for this season. Inspired by American cartoonist Robert Crumb and director of animated films Ralph Bakshi, the latest collection features unique designs that draw from R-rated cartoons from the ’70s and ’80s.

Key pieces from the collection include pendants based off of Bakshi’s 1972 animated comedy Fritz the Cat, necklaces featuring animal heads and bones, star-emblazoned hoop earrings and art deco-inspired rings. A vibrant blue sapphire stone is set into a “Midnight” ring, while more playful styles include the “Cowboy Soundboy” ring and “Nevermind” earrings. Other highlights include “Laugh Now Cry Later” chains and a Rolex-inspired Jubilee ring. As usual, the Canadian label has coated the pieces with .925 silver and 14k gold for a polished finish.

Check out the SS20 editorial above. The collection is available now on MAPLE’s website and at select retailers.
