Following on from the official unveiling of the NIGO x Virgil Abloh LV² collection recently, Louis Vuitton has now given a first look at its latest footwear silhouette. The new arrival was teased by Mathias Patillon, who serves as Head of Design for men’s footwear at the French house.

Whereas a number of recent Louis Vuitton footwear releases under Virgil Abloh have been sneakers, including last year’s region exclusive LV 408, the new silhouette is more formal. Bearing a similarity to classic deck shoes, the silhouette is constructed from high-quality leather and is set to arrive in black, yellow or brown colorways. Other features include a thick black sole, metallic hardware and embossed Louis Vuitton branding on the tongue.

Currently, there is no news on when the Louis Vuitton shoe will arrive, but keep an eye out for more information and details in the coming weeks.

In other footwear news, Virgil Abloh’s Off-White™ recently debuted a new loafer silhouette.
