Following their Our House is on Fire installation, ICY and SOT return with a new limited edition print titled Break Free. Arriving in an edition of 35 prints, the black-and-white work portrays the silhouette of a human subject imposed on a fence illustration. The figure appears to detach itself from the barrier wall, creating a dynamic composition that blends figuration with abstraction.

Measuring 25 by 19 inches, the piece is an extension of the Iranian artist duo’s political consciousness surrounding the ongoing global refugee crisis that is observed across previous projects in their oeuvre. The artists touched upon the issue in their most recent exhibition, “Fences and Faces,” that is currently on view at Magda Danysz in Paris.

Head to ICY and SOT’s online shop to purchase a signed and numbered print for $300 USD.
