Official Look at the Air Jordan 7 "Hare 2.0"

Michael Jordan and Bugs Bunny have been co-conspirators since 1991’s Air Jordan 7 “Hare,” and now “Hare Jordan” and Air Jordan are coming together once again for the Air Jordan 7 “Hare 2.0.” A lucky rabbit’s foot in sneaker form, the “Hare 2.0” offers a furry upper, bright colors and special packaging, a natural evolution of the partnership between Jordan Brand and rascally rabbit.
Taking its rabbit’s foot inspiration quite literally, the upper is constructed of shaggy light green fur. Soft pastel pinks are present on the collar and throat, with a tri-color heel badge adding a bold pop of retro style on the rear. From a branding standpoint, Air Jordan text is emblazoned on the tongue and a Jumpman leaps onto the perforated collar piece. “130014-100” is debossed on the lateral heel, a direct acknowledgement of the OG ‘91 “Hare” style code.
Down below, midsoles use white and gray while outsoles go full-on vibrant, mixing carrot oranges, mint greens, rich purples, bright reds and stark blacks with translucent rubber for a ’90s-style jumble of colors. A special white box with a carrot graphic on the lid and hare-themed tissue paper ensure the packaging stacks up to the bold shoes it contains.
In recent years “Hare Jordan” has provided inspiration for everything from Air Jordan 1 Mids to Air Jordan 6s, Air Jordan 29s and more, but this new AJ7 may just be the boldest “Hare Jordan” silhouette yet. See the original “Hare Jordan” commercial from 1991 below, and expect the Air Jordan 7 “Hare 2.0” to release on the Nike webstore and at Foot Locker for $250 USD come April 8.
Moving from retro to futuristic, Jordan Brand has also readied a brand-new Delta SP silhouette in a subtle-yet technical “Sail” colorway.
