First Look at the Air Jordan 5 "Alternate Grape"
A color-flipped take on the beloved Air Jordan 5 “Grape”

Jordan Brand‘s Air Jordan 5 “Grape” is one of the most beloved AJ5 colorways of all time, and now it’s getting a fresh twist thanks to an “Alternate Grape” makeup. A style that first released in 1990, the original Air Jordan 5 “Grape” was the only OG AJ5 colorway that Michael Jordan didn’t set foot on an NBA court in. It’s since retroed twice (2006 & 2013, when it also arrived in “Black Grape”), and served as inspiration for Will Smith‘s laceless Air Jordan 5 “Fresh Prince” in 2018. The history of the “Grape” is undeniably long and sweet, so this “Alternate Grape” aims to bear fruit for the esteemed color palette in a new decade.
