The Air Jordan 5 “Grape” is making a return with a few new adjustments. For this month’s launch, the colorway will pay homage to the classic sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel Air. As an ode to Will Smith‘s style, this edition of the Air Jordan 5 takes on a laceless look. The lace entries have been completely shut while the rest of its design and color scheme remain true to its ’90s release. You’ll find more details on its insole with Air Jordan written in the same font as the tv show and “West Philadelphia” subtly debossed on the tongue.

The Air Jordan 5 “Fresh Prince” celebrates Will Smith’s birthday and arrives on September 25 for $190 USD at select Jordan Brand retailers. Browse the shots above and let us know if you’d rather have the laceless edition or the OG release. In other Will Smith news, you can watch him unbox the upcoming release in addition to a special “Friends & Family” pair.
