Dwyane Wade has decided to return to basketball for one last season. Over the summer, rumors circulated that he’d entertain deals from teams overseas. Yesterday, the three-time NBA Champion debunked those speculations with a heartfelt video for his friends, family and fans to join him for “One Last Dance.”
During the announcement, Wade reminisces about growing up playing the game he loves, the important things basketball has taught him over the years and some of the challenges he’s faced along the journey. Including the aforementioned championships, Dwyane Wade also adds an NBA Finals MVP, twelve All-Star appearances, 2009 scoring champion honors, an Olympic gold medal and much more to a hefty resume. Majority of the Flash’s season has been spent with the Miami Heat with small stints under the Chicago Bulls and Cleveland Cavaliers organizations.
