Balenciaga continues to get cheeky with luxury goods fans. Having released some ridiculously oversized pieces, causing a stir with its Triple-S sneaker model and dropping premium versions of its shopping bags, the fashion house is now turning to animals for more industry buzz. Instead of incorporating animal pattern prints to its goods, the Demna Gvasalia-led luxury line has opted to add actual animal images instead. For its latest release, a leather tote bag is designed with an illustration of a puppy hugging a kitten while sleeping – the graphic is perfect for animal lovers or those looking to make a fashion statement by way of “cute” animal pictures. Additionally, Balenciaga’s logo is placed above.
Balenciaga’s new puppy and kitten-printed leather tote bag is currently available via select stockists such as MR. PORTER for $2,250 USD. Fans of the fashion house can also check out its recent collaborative capsule with the World Food Programme.
