adidas LXCON Releases in Stripped-Back "Signal Green"
Equipped with a new mesh upper.
adidas Originals has released its LXCON in a stripped-back “Signal Green” colorway. An updated take on adidas‘s classic LXCON 94, the LXCON’s modern-day style has now been pushed in an alternate direction thanks to a new upper build.
“Signal Green” is an obvious moniker for this design, as the aforementioned mesh upper is dressed in a vibrant green hue that can be spotted from a distance, and a wide-knit mesh construction gives off an undeniably sporty air. A delicately stitched fabric Three Stripes graphic on the midfoot and a snaking plastic tube that runs from midfoot to heel before crescendoing above the rear add technical, conceptual style.
These vivid tones and textures are offset by elegant tan shades on the thin suede tongue and adiPRENE midsole, the former of which presents black “The Brand with the Three Stripes” text graphics. Grey heel clips enhance support, and a black rubber outsole finalizes the look.
