visvim Drops Retro Footwear-Inspired Attica Trainers
Coming in Beige, Navy, Red and Mustard.
Last month, Hiroki Nakamura‘s visvim dropped its Kerchief Down Jacket, Grease Monkey Coat and Cecile Shirt emblazoned with artful paint splatters. Continuing its SS20 rollout, the stalwart Japanese label is back with a new footwear piece that slightly mirrors that of retro footwear — Attica Trainers.
Starting at the top of the shoes is a gentle suede tongue that’s been woven with visvim’s tab logo, complemented by an equally delicate heel counter embossed with “visvim” branding. The sneakers come with flat, cream-colored laces with burnished brass tips and suede eyelet panels that frame the laces. At the sidewalls is a sharp “V” logo placed atop a bed of batted nylon, while nubuck panels appear at the toecap and lower heel for textural contrast. All of these details sit atop a decorated Ultralight EVA Phylon midsole, accompanied by a natural cork footbed, TPU heel stabilizer and an essential Vibram outsole.
The visvim Attica Trainers are currently available in colorways of Beige, Navy, Red and Mustard at visvim’s website for $830 USD.
