TOKiMONSTA Taps Bibi Bourelly and Jean Deaux for Her "One Day" Music Video
Filmed at the Tenri Dojo in honor of her Korean heritage.
Following the release of her EARTHGANG collaboration “Fried for the Night” featuring a seriously trippy video alongside the GRAMMY Nominated Atlanta rap duo, TOKiMONSTA returns for her latest single, “One Day.” The producer extraordinaire taps Bibi Bourelly and Jean Deaux for a track that focuses on all three of the women’s fierce independence and their individual journeys overcoming numerous hurdles and hardships to reach their success.
Director Jordan Bahat filmed the visual at the Tenri Dojo to celebrate TOKiMONSTA’s Korean heritage as the trio leads a class of young Taekwondo students. TOKiMONSTA detailed the track’s inspiration in an official press release:
“Buried deep inside us is the will to overcome the most difficult hardships. As women, Bibi, Jean Deaux, and I know how strong you have to be to push forward when no one believes in you. One Day is dedicated to every person of every creed feeling life’s hardships, but not losing themselves to it. Our drive and our determination will guide us to the faint light at the end of the tunnel.”
Tickets are available via TOKiMONSTA’s official website with live shows starting with sets at Coachella 2020 later this year.. Oasis Nocturno is slated to release March 20.
