Here's What Team USA Will Be Wearing on the 2020 Tokyo Olympics Medal Stand
Along with a new iteration of the VaporMax.

With the 2020 Tokyo Olympics just around the corner, a lot of news has been shared by sportswear giant Nike. However what a lot of sports fans are wondering is, what will Team USA be wearing on the medal stand?
As part of Team USA‘s 2020 “Medal Stand” collection, the respective athletes who manage to secure a medal at the upcoming games will be sporting an outfit made from sustainable materials, inspired by the recycled gadgets that make up the Tokyo medals. Nike‘s iconic Windrunner jacket has been crafted from 100 percent recycled polyester. In terms of design, the jacket takes on the look of Japan’s famed kimono. On the back, a large team logo is spotlighted, which has been made from recycled Nike Grind rubber. Additionally the pants are also constructed from 100 percent recycled nylon and a 100 percent recycled polyester mesh lining. Nike Grind also makes up the embellishments such as the drawcord tips, zipper pulls and Swoosh branding.
Along with the sustainable garments, Team USA athletes will also sport Nike‘s new low-impact VaporMax made from 75 percent recycled manufacturing waste. The Flyknit upper is crafted from recycled-polyester, while additional features include FlyEase technology.
So far no release date has been shared for when the “Medal Stand” collection and VaporMax 2020 will be available for fans to purchase. The 2020 Tokyo Olympics kicks off on July 24.
