Listen to Leon Bridges and Khruangbin's Collaborative 'Texas Sun' EP
Highlighting music genres from the Lone Star State.
Singer Leon Bridges and psychedelic-soul band Khruangbin have come together to showcase music styles from their hometown in their recent Texas Sun EP. Hailing from Fort Worth and Houston respectively, the musical trio joined Bridges on tour and came up with the eponymous track, “Texas Sun,” which dropped back in December. The EP also includes the previously released, “C-Side” along with two new songs, “Midnight” and “Conversion.”
The title track sets the tone for the rest of the album, which blends Bridges’ smooth vocals with the band’s mellow global-influenced sounds. Evoking elements of blues, funk and gospel, listen to the four-track project below on Spotify and other major platforms. Limited merch for the EP can also be found on Khruangbin’s website.
