Following Playboi Carti‘s announcement that he has “turned in” Whole Lotta Red, we are now learning about a potential Christmas release date for the highly-anticipated album.

At the start of the week, Art Dealer (Jung Yean Cho), the producer behind “Long Time – Intro” off of Die Lit, and Matthew M. Williams shared some photos of graffiti centered around the date December 25. In the series images, “12/25,” “WLR,” “THE WORLD WILL BE RED SOON” and accompanying motifs are spray-painted on the side of buildings and billboards in bright red. Although Carti is not tagged in any of the posts, it is expected that the images are part of a guerrilla campaign in lead up to the release of the project.

Adding to news about Whole Lotta Red, Playboi Carti broke from his usual cryptic nature and took to Instagram to reveal to fans that Kid Cudi will be appearing on his sophomore album.
