New Balance Announces the "Positionless" TWO WXY Basketball Sneaker
Borrowing details from the KAWHI signature.
Continuing to develop its court-driven performance basketball line of footwear, New Balance has just teased the new TWO WXY basketball sneakers made for positionless players.
The silhouette is shown in two festive colorways – one in blue, navy and gold and another in black, pink, orange and teal — both with a similar KAWHI pattern on the quarters and outsole. The pink colorway features a pink hue on its neoprene uppers and is mixed with panels of black along the midsole, heel, and tongue. Teal and orange arrive on the unique embroidered pattern and on the shoelaces. A white “NB” logo at the heel splits up the bright colors for a bit of contrast. The former sneaker sees its entire uppers covered with yellow and blue accents on the shoelaces, midsole, and heel. This colorway is finished with a tonal yellow “NB” logo at the rear.
Although a release date along with pricing has yet to be announced for the TWO WXY, the brand has stated that it will be dropping sometime in 2021.
