Alfred Molina is Back as Doc Ock in Marvel's 'Spider-Man 3'
16 years after his debut as the sinister villain.

16 years after making his villainous debut as the evil genius Doctor Otto Octavious in Sam Raimi’s 2004 blockbuster Spider-Man 2, English-American actor Alfred Molina is finally reprising his role in the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe‘s third Spider-Man film.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, rumors around Molina’s appearance in the upcoming film first surfaced a month ago, when reports suggested he was seen on set. Since then, sources close to the project have confirmed the news. Seemingly revolving around a Spider-verse plotline for this third installment, Molina will be joined by The Amazing Spider-Man 2‘s Jamie Foxx as Electro, bringing into the MCU characters from all three generations of films based on your friendly neighborhood superhero.
At the same time, rumors have surfaced regarding both Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s return as the two separate Spider-men as well, although neither Sony nor Disney and Marvel have confirmed any news relating to the two.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 3 is scheduled to hit theaters December 17, 2021.
