South Korean label IAB-Studio and ASICS are teaming up once again, this time around delivering the “AI-2” capsule collection comprising two GEL-1090 sneakers and a full range of clothing.

This new Fall/Winter 2020 collaboration follows on from the duo’s summer release which featured a standout pair of GEL-Venture 6 sneakers, and continues to put IAB-Studio on the global map after various collaborations such as the one with Alpha Industries.

Here, IAB-Studio gives the GEL-1090 two bold makeovers. The first pair features a predominantly highlighter yellow-toned upper which sees the engineered mesh base get overlayed with soft black leather panels on the toe and heel. On these, you’ll find plenty of ASICS branding in colors such as orange and yellow, while the 1090 stamp appears in green on the blacked-out GEL sole unit.

The second pair flips this colorway, opting for a black mesh upper contrasted by neon yellow panels and a matching sole unit. The neon tone has been used to highlight the embroidered tongue branding, the ASICS mid-panel stripes, and the speckles on the rope laces, while colorful branding and gradient effects decorate the overlaying panels and midsole.

Joining these shoes is a full capsule collection of clothes spanning technical outerwear, a sweater and T-shirt, pants, and accessories such a beanie hats. Each is co-branded, while pieces such as the jacket are finished with branding on the rear and also sport the rainbow gradient that’s found on the shoes.

Take a look at the IAB-Studio x ASICS “AI-2” FW20 collection above, and expect everything to drop on the dedicated collaborative website on December 7.
