Hailee Steinfeld Joins Jeremy Renner in 'Hawkeye' Disney+ Series
Florence Pugh will also make an appearance.

More casting information has finally surfaced for the upcoming Hawkeye series on Disney+, with Pitch Perfect 2 and Bumblebee‘s Hailee Steinfeld to join Jeremy Renner as the young Hawkeye successor Kate Bishop.
Renner of course will be returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe with the reprisal of Clint Barton aka Hawkeye, who is said to become a mentor for Steinfeld’s Bishop over the course of the series, training her to take up his mantle. The Conjuring‘s Vera Farmiga is reportedly playing Kate Bishop’s mother, Eleanor Bishop, while Midsommar‘s Florence Pugh will join the series reprising her role as Yelena Belova from the currently-delayed Black Widow movie. Other cast members include Fra Free, Tony Dalton, Zahn McClarnon, and Alaqua Cox.
There’s currently no release date set for Hawkeye, so Marvel fans should stay tuned for more updates to come.
Elsewhere in entertainment, The Matrix 4, Dune and more will premiere on HBO Max.
