This year marks the introductory era of the Jumpman team’s Air Jordan 1 High Zoom CMFT — a modernized proposition derived from the ever-classic AJ 1, only elevated with padded cushioning around the ankle collars. After revealing itself in a neutral-heavy “Summit White” makeup and foggy-toned palette for London, the lifestyle-ready silhouette is departing to a more adventurous “Chile Red” motif for its latest act.

While not officially associated to Germany, it features schemes here that are somewhat reminiscent of the European country’s flag. Toe boxes and quarter panels are given suede textures and swathed in black to match that of the throat, and arrive surrounded by the overlays distributed to the forefoot, ankle flaps and lower heel which are submerged in its titular hue. The canvas materials that comprise the cut-out Swooshes and ankle panels offset with vibrant hits of “University Gold”. “Zoom Air” branding is printed across the tongues and on the footbeds in the aforementioned spice-inspired hue for extra pops.

Below, the midsoles are finished with a white paint job, and come mated with bold red outsoles that are bordered by a strip of black. This colorway is now available via Nike in Asia, but expect a stateside drop to happen likely in the coming weeks as well.
