aerosoap Constructs a Uniquely Functional Soap Mask
An interesting take on protection.
Adding to the numerous innovative personal protective equipment creations we have seen since the start of the Coronavirus pandemic, German experimental design lab aerosoap has created an interesting take on the medical face shield.
Building on its investigation of common soap, the Soap Mask is a unique functional barrier for the current state of the world. Despite not being as effective as certified PPE, aerosoap reveals the positive outlook behind its design. “Our Soap Mask does not provide efficient or even long-lasting protection. Not a bit. But it may help breaking the monotony of a lockdown.” Going on to note, the mask looks towards “enriching some lockdown monotony with new, surprising, real and optimistically colored perspectives.”
