Building on the breakout popularity of the live-action adaptation of Haro Aso’s Alice in Borderland (Imawa no Kuni no Alice) manga, Netflix Japan has now announced a second season for the series.

For the announcement, the Japanese division of the streaming platform posted a brief teaser scored by the sound of a clock ticking and showing a “2” marked card being flipped over. Season 2 is expected to pick up with the fall of Beach and uncover more about who is behind the “game.” As Arisu, Usagi, Chishiya and Kuina discover an underground hideout and learn of “new games” that will offer the face cards that have yet to appear.
