Jockey Slut Pays Tribute to Andrew Weatherall With New Book

Andrew Weatherall – A Jockey Slut Tribute is a new book paying homage to the late British DJ and music producer who passed away earlier this year.
Comprising interviews, articles and a new 10,000-word oral history, Jockey Slut — a bi-monthly Manchester-based magazine that covered dance music and culture up until 2004 — has curated a 160-page tribute spanning the breadth of Weatherall’s rich career from the 1980s, through to 2020, the year he died.
Featuring the likes of Danny Rampling, the Chemical Brothers, Bobby Gillespie, Keith Tenniswood and more, money from each book sold will go to charities close to Weatherall’s heart: Amnesty International, Multiple Sclerosis Society, Thrombosis U.K. and Crisis.
