Amsterdam-based label Daily Paper has followed up the opening of its New York flagship by introducing a new product category as it moves into home fragrance. Dubbed “Modern Nomads,” the scent has been developed in collaboration with Zenology, a fragrance brand also based in Amsterdam.

While developing the scent, Daily Paper used essential oils and aromas from across Africa, including Moroccan Mint Tea, Somali Frankincense and Ghanaian Cacao. The scents used are designed to evoke a nostalgic journey across the continent, inspired by fishing villages and beaches on the Somali coast to the red sands of the Moroccan desert and the lush foliage of Ghanaian jungles

Announcing the new release, Daily Paper co-founder Abderrahmane Trabsini said, “Scent is such a key part of the whole travel experience for me. I knew that we needed to do our own fragrance one day, one that would capture the DNA of Daily Paper and felt personal to our individual heritages and identities. When we started working on this collaboration, we asked ourselves “what would Daily Paper smell like if it was a scent?” And now we have our answer.”

Daily Paper’s “Modern Nomads” sense comes in two sizes, including a travel-friendly bottle for hand luggage and a larger bottle for the home. The smaller bottle is priced at $25 USD while the larger comes in at $65 USD.

For more fragrances, CELINE has delivered the Coffret Miniature set.
