FOX has just unveiled a teaser trailer for its upcoming animated sitcom called The Great North. The new series is the brainchild of Bob’s Burgers creator Loren Bouchard, whose show has already been secured for a second season on the network.
The half-hour comedy will be joining The Simpsons, Family Guy and Bob’s Burgers for FOX‘s Sunday programming block Animation Domination, starting February 2021. The Great North centers around the Tobin family in Alaska, where its single father “does his best to keep his weird bunch of kids close, especially as the artistic dreams of his only daughter lead her away from the family fishing boat and into the glamorous world of the local mall.” Nick Offerman voices the dad, alongside other familiar names like Jenny Slate, Will Forte and Megan Mullally, to mention a few — Alanis Morissette will also be joining as a guest in the debut season. The new series marks Bouchard’s second project to land on a major network this year, following the musical animated series Central Park on Apple TV+.
