YG Entertainment Confirms G-Dragon Working on New Album
Following his two-year mandatory military service.
Following a series of rumors, YG Entertainment has now confirmed that G-Dragon is working on a new album. Earlier this week Korean media began reporting that the BIGBANG leader has been frequenting the YG Entertainment, YGX and The Black Label’s buildings.
Speaking to HYPEBEAST Korea, the South Korean entertainment company noted, “It is true that G-Dragon is working on new music.” With the confirmation, it is expected the G-Dragon will release a new project sometime next year, though it is unclear exactly when and what format the new music will come in.
The news comes after G-Dragon ended his two-year mandatory military service October 26, 2019 and BIGBANG’s official comeback at this year’s Coachella Festival was canceled due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
