sacai x Nike Vaporwaffle Tan & Navy Release Info

sacai and Nike have a veritable swath of Vaporwaffle colorways ready to go, and the latest makeup to join the party is a tan and navy style. Taking on the same nylon upper as a recently-revealed purple and orange pair, the latest creation from the mind of sacai founder Chitose Abe takes a classic color scheme and old-school running shoe ethos — then mixes them together with doubled-up detail for a style that’s equal parts Nike past, present and future.

All about tan, the shoe’s upper is made of a nylon base and supple suede overlays. This is then tinted by a rich navy on the Swooshes and co-branded heel pieces, while also appearing on one of the two lace sets for the shoe’s first piece of dual detail. Tongues are double-stacked as well, with one featuring a Nike Sportswear graphic and the other a sacai spellout. Below the duo of navy and white midfoot Swooshes sits a dual-layered midsole with a signature lip in the heel, and old-school black waffle outsoles round off the look.

The sacai x Nike Vaporwaffle in tan and navy has yet to receive a release date, but it’ll likely debut towards the tail end of 2020 or in the first quarter of 2021. If it remains in line with other colorways, the MSRP will be $180 USD.
