sacai is bringing an immersive slice of its world to Paris with “sacai TO GO,” a limited-time event on the second floor of Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche. Running as part of the store’s SUPER JAPON program, the takeover blends Japanese culture with Parisian creativity across food, drink and a deep bench of exclusive merchandise.
The exclusive apparel spans a run of black and white T-shirts, some carrying the sacai logo, others leaning on MA-1-inspired detailing or rocky’s matcha’s tiger graphic. Rounding out the shirt selection are pieces pulled from sacai’s collaborations with Carhartt WIP and Nike, folding two of the label’s marquee tie-ups into the same exclusive rack.
Beyond the tees, the accessories carry real weight. sacai is stocking tote bags from its signature Zantan series, each crafted from repurposed archive fabrics, and pairing them with Peloqoon’s plush key charms designed by plush artist Madoka Morikawa. The most unexpected object is a boxed RYVDOLL set made with French artist Ryvka Adda, a collection of magnetic paper dolls that recreate sacai’s 26AW looks and let visitors mix and match styling combinations by hand.
The consumables are just as considered. Toraya, a Japanese confectioner with five centuries of history, and rocky’s matcha, founded by Rocky Xu, are featured throughout the run. Weekends add a rotating cast of Paris-based friends of the label, with ice cream shop F.O.L.D.E.R.O.L, bento brand Iné, kissaten-inspired sandwich and coffee spot Benchy, seasonal-cuisine specialist NIWA and coffee shop Dreamin’ Man each taking a turn across the calendar.
Tying the whole thing together is co-curator Sarah Andelman, co-founder and former Creative Director of the influential Paris concept store colette, who assembled a community of longtime collaborators to shape the space. The result reads as a hybrid environment, one that fuses Japanese sensibility with a distinctly Parisian creative spirit while staying unmistakably sacai.
