kiLL Edward, the alter ego of J. Cole, recently took to Instagram stories to announce that he’ll be releasing new music soon.

“Damn been off for awhile but ima make sure we end 2020 something special!” the Cole moniker wrote on social media. “Stay tuned hope y’all ready!”

kiLL Edward was previously featured on Cole’s 2018 album KOD, appearing on “The Cut Off” and “FRIENDS” as the project’s sole guest artist. Considering the fact that the rapper is set to release his next studio album The Fall Off, kiLL Edward might make his return.

Cole recently dropped his Lewis Street EP as a prelude to The Fall Off. A July 2020 announcement from the rapper confirmed that there is still no release date for The Fall Off as he is “taking my time” and “still finishing” the album.
