Nike‘s Air Max 1 has been given a “Dark Smoke Grey/Glacier Ice” makeover. Following its “Spiral Sage” and “Mystic Dates” iterations from last month, the new colorway features bolder high-contrast uppers this time around.
Inspired by city trains, the shoe comes with a bevy of details, like graffiti art and shiny panels, that mirror characteristics often found in urban train systems. The shoe’s woven tongue tag displays a Nike logo that mimics spray paint. Below it is a set of black laces, “Chutney”-toned collars and “Dark Smoke Grey” sidewalls that comes in a shiny metallic tone. A cool “Glacier Ice” Swoosh appears over the sides, while graffiti-style “Nike” branding at the heel, a white mesh toebox, a suede toecap and a clean Air sole-equipped midsole finish off the shoe’s vibrant design.
Nike’s Air Max 1 “Dark Smoke Grey/Glacier Ice” will be available on October 15 on Nike’s website for $140 USD.
