Detailed Look at the Air Jordan 35 "DNA"
Combining a modern-day take on the Air Jordan 5 “Fire Red” color scheme with ultra-potent performance tech.

Pulling select design cues from the Air Jordan 5 and meshing them with ultra-advanced tech/materials, Jordan Brand‘s Air Jordan 35 is an undeniably noteworthy addition to the Air Jordan lineage. Now, the AJ35 is set to release in a new “DNA” makeup that brings the OG Air Jordan 5 “Fire Red” and its WWII fighter plane-inspired style into an entirely new era of performance basketball footwear.
Using a traditional white, black and red color scheme, uppers mix a gridded synthetic base with a nubuck mudguard that’s almost Air Jordan 12-esque in shape. Visible Flightwire on both the lateral and medial quarters provide layered detailing and adaptable support, with iridescent midfoot pieces and flecked laces serving up even more flair. Black and red tongues offer the design’s most direct nod to the Air Jordan 5, and a small Nike Air fabric tag hangs off the back as well.
Down below, midsoles are loaded with sizable Zoom Air bags in the heel and forefoot alike. These are separated by a black Eclipse Plate 2.0 under the midfoot, which works with Zoom’s responsive nature to provide an ultra-explosive on-court feel. Translucent outsoles with touches of Zoom and Jordan branding round off the look.
The Air Jordan 35 “DNA” is set to release on the Nike webstore come November 11, and is priced at $180 USD.
