After teasing its final collaborative release alongside Bulgarian designer Kiko Kostadinov, ASICS now gives us a closer look at the three-piece GEL-Kiril 2 capsule ahead of its release later this week.

Earlier this month it was announced that Kostadinov had agreed a deal to work with the brand’s ASICS SportsStyle division, a move that’s seen his partnership with ASICS’ mainline drawn to a close. Sticking with the traditions established by previous capsules, the paie have built on the unique GEL-Kiril silhouette, while taking design inspirations from Kostadinov’s own Fall/Winter 2020 collection.

Reimagining the unique FLYTEFOAM Propel midsole by utilising a folding hook and loop fastener tongue, this latest innovation conceals an elasticated lacing system underneath the overlapping closure.

Arriving in “Coral Red”, “Phantom Black” and “Steel Grey” colorways, the final ASICS x Kiko Kostadinov GEL-Kiril 2 drops on October 31 via the ASICS webstore.

In other sneaker news, NU LABEL has given ASICS’ GEL Quantum 360 sneaker a stealthy all-black makeover.
