21 Savage and Metro Boomin Deliver Ominous "My Dawg" Visual
Taken from the pair’s latest release, ‘Savage Mode II.’
21 Savage and Metro Boomin have dropped off an accompanying music video for “My Dawg,” taken from the pair’s latest collaborative release Savage Mode II.
The visual places the creative pair in a concealed and luxurious mansion where they’re free to go about their business. They can be seen working on some shady-looking deals with some shady-looking people, along with sending their dog to chase after unwanted guests and make a lesson out of them. 21 also hits back on the criticisms of his U.K. roots, unveiling a painting that depicts him as a monarch, and rapping lines like “I ain’t know nothin’ ’bout no Visa, I was in the park with the gang/Moms be feelin’ bad, I try to tell her she is not to blame/No social security, couldn’t get a license, but I still didn’t complain” and “N*gga keep talkin’ that U.K. sh*t like I don’t got AKs/Like, ’cause I was born overseas, these motherf*ckers ain’t gon’ spray-spray” while he’s surrounded by 18th century-looking British soldiers.
