The pair follows on from WACKO MARIA’s recent three-way collaboration with INVINCIBLE and Converse, which saw the release of two bold Chuck Taylor All Star 70s. This time around, the Japanese imprint enlists yet another house motif to adorn the sneaker’s canvas upper with, and takes on a heritage model that is based on the traditional vintage American design of the low top Converse All Star.
Aside from the all-over python-printed canvas, you can find an off white-hued sole unit complete with black piping, a matching license plate noting the sneaker’s credentials, a fabric All Star tongue tab, a contrasting white toe cap, cream laces and silver-toned eyelets. On the inside of the tongue, WACKO MARIA provides its branding in the form of its signature slogan “THE GUILTY PARTIES — OUTRAGEOUS INC — PARADISE TOKYO.”
