adidas Officially Launches Its Collaboration With The Pokémon Company
Featuring takes on the Phosphere, Advantage and Hoops Mid 2.0 footwear models.
Following a series of teasers, adidas kicked off the new year by releasing its collaboration with The Pokémon Company.
Comprised of both youth and adult styles, the special range celebrates the iconic franchise and its unmatched place in pop culture. Tracksuits, T-shirts, shorts and footwear are marked with lo-fi 8-bit graphics inspired by the visuals found in the early Pokémon video games. Patterns of pixels are used to create color, gradients and textures to highlight Pikachu, Charmander, Squirtle, Bulbasaur, Eevee and different Pokéballs types. Rounding up the collaborative collection are Pokémon themed takes on the Advantage and Hoops Mid 2.0 shoes for youth and the Phosphere for adults.
