TOBi Enlists The Game for "City Blues" Remix
Taken from TOBi’s debut studio album, ‘STILL.’

TOBi is revisiting his debut studio album STILL with a remix of “City Blues,” tagging Grammy winner The Game for the Free n Losh-produced track. A continuation of the Nigerian-born artist’s “unapologetic soul music,” The Game hops on to deliver a painful narrative of trauma, detailing a scenario that’s not too far from reality.
“This song is special to me because it’s so honest. Hearing The Game’s verse for the first time was unreal and the picture he paints is vividly intense,” TOBi said in a statement. “These are the realities of the world we live in. No filters, no apologies. It’s amazing as artists that we can release these experiences to the world through music.”
STILL was originally released in May 2019 with collaborations from !llmind, Take A Daytrip and VanJess. “This album was years in the making with several iterations throughout,” he shared. “STILL being true to my life story, it was best for it to be split into 3 chapters of learning and unlearning; Searching, Conflict, and Salvation. With it finally completed and seeing the light of day, I have so many people to thank on this. It feels pretty surreal thinking about the collection of humans that have contributed to this beautiful body of work.”
