Returning for Fall/Winter 2020, JULIUS is continuing its reflection of the relationship between humans and nature. Dubbed “[ DUKKHA; ],” the seasonal range is informed by spiritual worship and animism that helps humans and nature influence and regulate one another.
The works of Magdalena Abakanowicz, Christian Boltanski and Josef Koudelka are referenced in the billowy minimalist forms draped on the idyllic nomadic tribe seen in the lookbook. One again the muted tones of nature are utilized throughout the collection to help create abstract creations found in organic structures. Rounding up the collection is a diverse range of footwear that sees functional military boots updated with thick soles and classic menswear silhouettes reimagined with matching Earthy tones of suede and leather.
