J.Crew's Latest New Balance Kicks Feature Subtle and Statement Designs
Featuring updated Comp 100, 996 and 574 silhouettes.
J.Crew and New Balance are no strangers when it comes to collaborations. Last year, the duo released New Balance 997s inspired by iconic North American animals. Back in 2018, the pair dropped hot dog-inspired 998s and a “Canyon Road” pack. Their latest collaboration consists of Comp 100, 996 and 574 silhouettes given brand new color combinations and prints.
The limited-run of sneakers showcase J.Crew and New Balance’s ability to blend fashion and function together seamlessly. Updated with gold detailing on the heel and logo, the Comp 100 sneaker is given a “Gold Salt” treatment. The latest iteration of the shoe is sleeker and more modern than when it was first introduced in the ’70s. For an eye-catching statement, the 996 silhouette sports a leopard print with contrasting black mesh panels. Finally, the 574 arrives in shades of pink. A neon pink hue covers the inside of the shoe and outlines New Balance’s “N” branding for a contrastive pop.
Take a closer look at the latest collaborative styles above. The sneakers are expected to launch soon on J.Crew and New Balance’s websites. Prices will range between $80 and $100 USD.
