adidas Revamps Yung-1 With Bold Cheetah Print in "Core Black/Simple Brown"
Featuring lush pony hair textiles.
Back in November, adidas released its “Night Jungle” Yung-1s, which saw subtle hits of cheetah patterns on certain parts of the silhouette. The German footwear giant is back with its latest revamp of the silhouette, this time applying the pattern to most of the sneaker’s body — “Core Black/Simple Brown.”
Starting at the top, white “adidas” embroidery is sewn at the tongue, set against a black leather foundation that also appears at the toe cap and sidewalls. The rest of the sneakers are covered in a lush pony hair textile embellished with bold cheetah prints, covering the tongue, heel, mid-section and forefoot. At the sidewalls, adidas’ “Three Stripes” branding comes in white ripstop to match the shade of the Trefoil logo seen at the tongue. All of these details sit atop a chunky ’90s-inspired blacked-out midsole, offering optimal foot support and cushioning with each stride.
The adidas Yung-1 “Core Black/Simple Brown” is currently available at atmos’ website for $128 USD.
