Zadig & Voltaire Releases NBA Collaboration for FW19
Tank tops and destroyed sweaters sporting basketball iconography.
Keeping in step with its effortless-cool aesthetic, Parisian fashion house Zadig & Voltaire has partnered with the NBA for a basketball-focused collection. The series of T-shirts and sweaters debuted earlier this year at the label’s Fall/Winter 2019 fashion show, set inside storied New York City nightclub The Tunnel, and offers thoughtfully detailed basketball-centric pieces for men and women.
The collection combines the modern DNA of Zadig & Voltaire with a sporty dynamic to offer stylish options for basketball fans. The collection is made up of destroyed sweaters and sleeveless tees bearing NBA teams iconography, like the Chicago Bulls, Memphis Grizzles and Los Angeles Lakers. Among the standout items are a reverse weave knit sweater with yarn detailing and a series of multi-team tanks that commemorate the the brand’s Fall/Winter 2019 fashion show.

To celebrate the capsule collection, Zadig & Voltaire recently joined forces with The Shoe Surgeon for an event in New York City. In addition to previewing the NBA collaboration, attendees also had the opportunity to partake in Shoe Surgeon School, a series of customization workshops. Among the party goers were the label’s creative director Cecilia Bonstrom, Chris Bosh, P.J. Tucker and Rudy Gay.
