The North Face Black Series Releases “THE ARCHIVES, REIMAGINED”
Featuring the Kazuki and Rage capsule.

The North Face’s Black Series has just launched two new capsules for the Fall 2019 season. Titled “THE ARCHIVES, REIMAGINED,” this collection looks back at The North Face’s celebrated catalog of outerwear staples and reimagines each piece for an urban setting — packed with modern tech and contemporary details.
“THE ARCHIVES, REIMAGINED” is split into two main drops: the Kazuki capsule and the Rage capsule. Lead by Kazuki Kuraishi, the Kazuki capsule takes on minimal Japanese styling with weather-ready fabrics. Key items from this capsule are the high-neck Fleech Jacket, DryVentä Cargo Hooded Rain Jacket, and Urban Tech Day Pack. The Rage capsule is an updated form of The North Face‘s 1992 collection — a collection that was tested over three years by top skiers and extreme snowboarders — with a more refined take on the retro pieces, all with an added urban twist. Key pieces from the Rage capsule are the Gore-Tex Rain Jacket and Pertexâ Padded Vest.
The outerwear pieces range from $200 – $640 USD; the Kazuki collection is set to hit TNF stores on September 9, while the Rage capsule drops on September 23.
