Off-White™ Releases Color-Blocked Hiking Sneakers With Playful Branding
“Made on earth, designed on a plane.”
Continuing with the trend of hiking sneakers, such as ROA’s Vibram-equipped “Neal” sneakers and ALYX’s detachable-grip hiking sneakers, Off-White™ has released its own version of the versatile footwear option.
Featuring a high top design with sock-like knit construction at the ankle, the Off-White™ leather hiking sneakers have purple technical mesh inserts, turquoise side panels and a front Velcro strap. The shoe combines function and style with its rugged soles, lace-up fastening and color block design. For a witty addition to the sneaker, the branded tongue reads, “Made on earth, designed on a plane.”
Unlike the Suede Hiking Boots the brand released earlier this year, the black and blue Off-White™ Hiking Leather Sneakers offer a more technical, streetwear-ready look. Instead of the suede boot’s traction-focused rubber lug sole and red hardware application, the sneaker’s sleek color palette and textural and tonal variety transform a classic footwear option into a stylish yet functional piece.
The black and blue Off-White™ Hiking Leather Sneakers are available now on Browns’ website for $690 USD.
In other news, New Balance dropped the CORDURA-accented 997 Sport in “Black/Pink.”
