ALYX Douses Detachable-Grip Hiking Sneakers in Python-Effect Leather
The latest iteration of the off-kilter footwear.
Continuing on with its trend-setting range of off-kilter hiking footwear for the Spring/Summer 2019 season, Matthew Williams’ 1017 ALYX 9SM imprint has doused its detachable-grip, Vibram-soled hiking boots with a heavy dose of Python overlays.
The unique sneakers employ Vibram’s “Arctic Grip” wet ice technology, specially designed for Williams’ recent collection. The highly calculated grip offers ballistic protection and immense grip to its users. Made from a variety of different leathers, the upper showcases a White leather base with various Python-effect leather hits on the shoes cage and mudguard regions. The upper is met with a Vibram sole that provides further comfort, rounding off the sneaker with suede inlaid branding hits on the tongue and white laces and metal eyelets.
Check out the new iteration of the head-turning sneaker above, and if you’re interested in picking up a pair, they are retailing for $895 USD via MATCHESFASHION.COM.
