Nike Wraps the Air Max 97 in Vintage Newspaper

Nike is continuing to make headlines with its latest Air Max 97 iteration. The iconic silhouette’s upper arrives covered in sepia-toned newspaper clippings, featuring monochromatic bodies of text and era-appropriate imagery. Hits of white land on the water-ripple lines and piping, while minimal threads of red make their way across the webbing and heel tab, offering a pop of contrast to the yellow-toned model. The shoe rests on an extended Air Max window, tied together with white laces for a clean finish.
