A Child Develops Superpowers in Netflix's Trailer for 'Raising Dion'

Netflix released a new trailer for its upcoming film Raising Dion, starring Michael B. Jordan, Alisha Wainwright, and newcomer Ja’Siah Young in the titular role. The story follows Nicole (Wainwright) as a single mother who is raising her son Dion (Young) following the death of her husband Mark (Jordan).
Suddenly, Dion begins developing several superpowers, escalating the usual drama that comes with raising a child in a single-parent home. Nicole now must keep her son’s gifts a secret with the help of Mark’s best friend Pat (Jason Ritter), while also protecting Dion from people out to exploit his powers as they figure out the origin of his abilities.
