Inching closer to the premiere of the highly anticipated Watchmen TV show, HBO has dropped an official trailer for its new original series.

Offering another look at the action of Season 1, the new video outlines the world of masked vigilantes. Set in the same universe of Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons’ celebrated DC Comics limited title, the TV show from Lost and Leftovers co-creator Damon Lindelof will tell an original story with all new characters. According to HBO, the first season of the show will feature nine action-packed episodes.

Watch the official trailer for HBO’s Watchmen above and look for the series to premiere October 20.

For more entertainment news, Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker and Robert Pattinson’s Batman will never be in the same movie.
