Futura Laboratories & Co:Labs Bring a 'Secret Experience' to Tokyo
For two nights only.
Legendary street artist Futura has partnered with Japanese art and design collective Co:Labs to create an immersive digital experience in Harajuku titled Secret Experience. For two nights only, Futura’s commercial brand Futura Laboratories will take over two floors of Harajuku’s modern cultural space Jing to showcase an array of two dimensional works that have evolved into immersive digital formats.
A major theme throughout the installation will be Futura’s iconic paint-drip motif, which can be found integrated into various light sculptures and projections. “My commercial brand Futura Laboratories is very happy to work with Co:Labs to push the boundaries between 2D design and graphic representation,” remarks Futura.
Futura Laboratories x Co:Labs: Secret Experience is currently on view at Jing, however, the event is only open to Co:Labs co-working space members. To become a Co:Labs member, register via the collective’s website.
