Last week, Conway the Machine delivered a new single titled “Tito’s Back” and revealed plans for his next major studio project, Look What I Became…. Billed as his forthcoming studio album God Don’t Make Mistakes‘ “prelude project,” Conway’s Look What I Became… is set to deliver nine new tracks to listeners, with additional contributions coming courtesy of DJ Muggs, Westside Gunn, Benny the Butcher and others. Now, further supporting Look What I Became…, Conway is serving up a new collaborative single with Jim Jones and Dave East, “Vino D.”

“Westside Gunn actually came up with the title for the track. Vino D was one of my homies that lost his life, so we wanted to celebrate him and do something ill in his memory,” Conway shares with us. “It’s dope to collaborate with two of my homies in Capo and Dave East, and they also happen to be two of my favorite rappers. The homie JR Swiftz sent me the beat and it was insane and my lil bro El Camino laid a crazy hook for it; that gives it a summertime in the hood feel.

Look What I Became… is a gift to all my day one fans and also my new fans to introduce them to this Griselda shit; and get them ready for the Shady debut God Don’t Make Mistakes,” Conway adds, opening up about his forthcoming projects.

Earlier this month, Conway also labeled Look What I Became… as an “appetizer” for God Don’t Make Mistakes‘ rollout and promotional campaign.

“I’m just staying on fire and keeping the streets feed and satisfied. I’m painting pictures,” Conway explained via an official statement. “I came from the bottom, from nothing, and now I’m on a major label and making music with Eminem. This project is a blueprint of that.”

You can check out Conway, Jim Jones, Dave East and El Camino’s joint record “Vino D” above. Conway’s new project Look What I Became… will hit streaming services and similar platforms this Friday, September 13.
