Activision and Infinity Ward released a new trailer for the story campaign of the upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare reboot. Following closely after the developer released the multiplayer mode trailer, the visuals above reflect the raw and gritty gameplay for single player, as the visceral story focuses on the realism of contemporary warfare.

In the trailer, we are reintroduced to John “Soap” MacTavish, the main character from the original Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare alongside a new SAS team joining forces with the CIA and the Urzikstan Liberation Force to retrieve stolen chemical weapons.

Additionally, the video reveals an XRK Weapons Pack will be available to fans that purchase Modern Warfare digitally coming October 25. PlayStation 4 players will also get access to the Special Ops Survival Mode exclusively until October 1, 2020.

Check out the visuals above and below, then grab Call of Duty: Modern Warfare when it drops October 25 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

In other gaming news, Sony is releasing a Death Stranding PlayStation 4 Pro bundle.
